How To Transfer A Blogger Blog To A Different Google Account

Transferring a Blogger blog to another Google account is simple because Blogger allows you to add users as Admins. Once the new account becomes an admin, full ownership can be transferred safely without losing posts, SEO, or settings.

  • Step 1.) Go to Blogger.com
  • Step 2.) Log in with the current Google account that owns the blog
  • Step 3.) Select the blog you want to transfer
  • Step 4.) From the left menu, click Settings
  • Step 5.) Scroll down to Permissions
  • Step 6.) Click Invite more authors

  • Step 7.) Enter the email ID of the new Google account
  • Step 8.) Click Invite
  • Step 9.) Blogger will send an invitation email to that account
  • Step 10.) Log in to the new Google account
  • Step 11.) Open the invitation email from Blogger
  • Step 12.) Click Accept Invitation
  • Step 13.) The new account will now appear as an Author
  • Step 14.) Go back to Settings → Permissions
  • Step 15.) Click the role dropdown next to the new email
  • Step 16.) Change Author → Admin
  • Step 17.) Save changes
  • Step 18.) If you want full transfer:

In Permissions, find your old email
Click Remove
Confirm removal

    • Step 19.) Do this only after the new account is Admin.

    Conclusion

Transferring a Blogger blog to another Google account is safe and quick if done using the Permissions method. Just make sure the new account is set as Admin before removing the old owner.
